Hello !! ♥
Wohoo I’m so excited to start this new post.. Guess what?! I just got a great vacation with my friends, three days in East Java – Indonesia gave me such lot experiences and fun.. After a busy holiday rundown, now I would like to tell you my first day at East Java.. We catched morning flight to Malang, one of cities in East Java which very well-known as “The City of Apples” (Malang produce many apples which famous in whole Indonesia) ..
We touched down Malang one and half hours later from Jakarta.. It was 9.30 am and the weather was very nice.. We were escorted by travel agent and started our vacation.. First, we went to Jawa Timur Park in Batu City, 1 hour from Malang airport.. The way to get there was quite uphill, our car speeding .. 🙂
In the middle of journey to Jawa Timur Park, we stopped by in the food court .. Yeah, this belly part could not compromise (a.k.a hungry attack, hehe).. We ate a bowl of Bakso Malang (Bakso = Meatball) .. Anyway, it tasted good and the price was also affordable.. only 15.000 rupiahs ($1,5)!! After dealing with this belly thing (lol) we continued our journey again..
Jawa Timur Park is a place which built for recreation, playing and learning in Batu City.. Inside here, there is a famous zoo called Batu Secret Zoo.. Also fantasy land, where we can try some rides games such as roller coaster, carousel and many more.. In there we can try to ride Noah Boat or just enjoyed the animals by train in Safari Farm too..
The ticket price :
Monday – Thursday Rp.100.000 ($10)
Friday – Sunday Rp.120.000 ($12)
The ticket applied for all zones, including secret zoo, fantasy land, museum and rides games.. By the way you can gain more information here just click the link : Jawa Timur Park ♥
Yeah, we just entered the Secret Zoo..Let me introduce the personnel : Ferdy, Fitri, Anggi, Barry and me.. Actually there are 2 persons left, Feby and Apit, who will catch up in the second day.. Poor them, due to some matters they could not go together with us in the first day 😦
Okay just have fun, then.. By wearing this tag, we could enjoy all the part of this great place.. Let’s go!!
I was so amazed with this zoo, the collections were almost complete.. From primates, fishes, reptiles to kind of birds .. From Asia to African animals ..There are kind of monkeys and chimpanzees , tigers from many countries, snakes, flamingos and many more.. I found an old turtle too, I thought (maybe) that it could not move anymore since its shell is very heavy..
Well, WOW, I could learn kind of animals lot here.. The place was also very huge .. However, visitor would not get tired because so many benches for take a rest.. We would not get lost too due to many direction signs and maps..
For comfortable trip, I recommended you to wear casual outfits, or you too much swelter later :p Even though the weather was quite cool (typical of mountainous air) but still I wore hat to protect my head from sun light which still blistering, hehe.. Don’t forget brought enough drinking supply !! 🙂 Finally, just have fun and enjoy our time by having chit chat with friends, laughing together and gossiping ..
Sun was going above my head and somehow found this ice cream booth (do you know what I’m thinking, right?).. Definitely right choice for reducing heat inside my head, hehe.. Hmm without waiting, I just paid 10.000 rupiahs and I got 3 sticks of ice cream (so cheap!!OMG) .. I got chocolate, strawberry and durian flavor !! Munch munch lick lick slurps.. hehehe
I got lot pictures here.. Hope you don’t mind with our narcissistic 🙂
This pictures took in the Savanah Zone, where most African animals exhibited .. In here we could see the animals in the right and left side of the path from inside which protected by wide clear glasses.. In the end of the path we could take a picture with cute animal characters (as seen in top picture :p )
Oh my God, my friend was caught by huge shark !! But still, she gave her big smileee.. Say cheese!!!
Hahaha, why do men always do this?!! An evil look which a pair of horns were growing from their head.. Watch out girls, bad boys are coming to town.. hahaha.. By the way, actually this is an Africa Cow (if I’m not mistaken) which is preserved and displayed in Savanah Zone..
Mama – Papa – Daughter from The Tribal Family.. Huba Hubaaa !!
We rode Noah Boat and feeding some pelicans .. Be careful while feeding them.. All you have to do is throw the small fish to pelicans.. Don’t hold small fishes too long near the pelicans, they will immediately eat the small fish (and take your hands too) hehehe..
Last rides before exit door is Safari Farms .. I and all my friends got thrill here.. We rode a mini train and entered to some cages where Llamas, Bison and Camels exhibited.. We could feed them, but look what I did.. . . So scary, especially a large camel which thrusts its neck into my head.. Aaaa… Can’t stop laughing when I saw this picture..
Hahaha (still continue laughing just looking at this picture)
Anyway, the story for day one in East Java is done up here.. I will continue my story about my second day vacation in my next post, just don’t miss it .. For your info, my second day is the best part of the whole vacation (such a main course, hehe).. I hope you like this “appetizer” story!! See you next..
