Postgraduate’s Tradition

note transp

“The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet”

A year ago, exactly on July 3rd 2012, I successfully completed my study and became part of a community of  bachelor from economics-accounting.. How happy, so felt overwhelming relief, sadness and worry mixed.. An A score thesis was beyond my expectation, because I proposed a very simple research theme – with super simple research equation too, of course – .. At that time, I felt embarrassed among friends because they proposed better issue than me as their research.. But, it must and it was thankful, since simplicity brought me into perfection..

This picture was taken a few minutes after I passed the examination 🙂 I felt soooo relief because finally I MADE IT .. Since the examiner was a killer one – fyi, the examiner was really grumpy and she was known well as Madam Voldemort because of her “bad character” when taught students.. You can imagine but you can’t feel the thrill when I walked to the ‘execution’ room and Ta Daaa …. surprisingly, she sat at the examiner seat with her haughty face.. As if I could hear the voice “i will kill youu.. i will torture you…” hahahaha..

One by one, all my friends passed the exam, congratulation !!

My campus, Economics Faculty in University of Indonesia, has a tradition to celebrate the graduation.. I don’t know exactly when this tradition began but it certainly very fun and wonderful to be remembered .. 🙂

The tradition began at this place, Makara Pond/Pool (whatever)..

Prepare your best pose to be captured !!! Because next you will be “tortured” hahahaha (*evil laugh)

yes yes yes!!

Your friends will drag you into the pond with no mercy then they will make sure that you will get wet from head to toe..

despite of those “torture” , in the end you will have your biiiig smileeeee 😀

And in the closing day, everyone who have passed the examination will jump into the pond and get wet again.. Sharing their happiness and smiles..

Congratulation !!

Graduation is one of the best moment that I ever experienced.. Hope this one-year-ago-moment makes me more grateful and better as a human ..

“Gratitude is the heart’s memory.”

(French Proverb)

I do recycling, sewing, crafting – those are my passions that being destructed by office hours.. I’m ordinary but most time being distinguish and minority.. I don’t mind for being and looking ugly.. Because everybody’s ugly, they just pretend not to look ugly.. I watch people, their shoes and bags, sometimes I judge inwardly.. I’m little bit straight forward and I am not sorry for being straight forward.. I hear a lot.. I write words, my handwriting is adored by some friends.. I love taking pictures.. I prefer shoot than being shot, anyway.. Travelling sometimes, “mountains better than beaches” lately.. Be very fond of with smell of genuine leather, some vintage, rustic and traditional things..
